In the interest of security and to fix some bugs I had the message board upgraded.

I hope everyone enjoys the new features of the upgraded message board.

Here are some of the new features:

  • Friends list - manage your friends for easier PMing, to see if your friends are currently online and display your friends on your profile
  • Profile comments - allow visitors to leave comments on your profile. You can set to moderate all new comments before they're shown.
  • Recent visitors - recent visitors are shown on your profile.
  • Your content - show your recent posts / blog entries / gallery uploads on your profile
  • Personal statement - add a short bio for others to read
  • Member rating - rate other members
  • Set your gender
  • Easy access to edit your location, age and IM details

I don't usually ask for support with the site because keeping this board up and running is theraputic for me, and it is a way for me to give back just some of the service I recieved when I needed shoulders to cry on, so I hope it isn't tacky to post this.

This upgrade was an unexpected additional expense on top of the cost of keeping the board online and donations are appreciated.

I love the upgrades! Don't be embarrased to ask for money help. We are grateful for all you've done and for this website that helps us to heal. Unless it poses a security threat, I think you should post your paypal info here for everyone to see. If you don't mind me asking, how much did the upgrades set you back? Thanks for everything, Jill. The cost to keep the site online is $70/year.
